Nelson Hysa won the WBO European heavyweight title just a few days ago after defeating Germany's Thorsten Fuchs.

The Shkodran giant triumphed by KO in the first round, recording his 18th career win in as many matches. Of which 16 with KO.

This success has made Hysa reach the best ranking of an Albanian boxer in history. In the world ranking of heavyweights, the red and black champion is ranked 11th.

Behind him are well-known names such as Bakhadir Jalolov, world champion of amateur boxing, but not only. The 39-year-old has taken the place in the ranking from the former world champion, the American Deontay Wilder, who has recorded 42 victories.

An extraordinary success for Hysa and Albanian boxing that reaches such levels. Everyone expects other successes from the undefeated Albanian "warrior", to get closer to the first places.

Hysa is preparing for another title match. The next target is the defense of the WBO necklace. Very soon, the opponent and the date of the next challenge will be determined.
