Sirena from Qatar for Berat Gjimshiti, Atalanta wants 10 million euros

Berat Gjimshiti can be transferred to Qatar. These are the latest news that are circulating in Italy.

As Sky reports, there has been constant contact between the club from Bergamo and Qatar's Al Rayyan, who want the Albanian's services at all costs.

Although the defender has a contract with Atalanta until the summer of 2026, he is not considered untouchable in Bergamo.

The valuation of the card from Atalanta goes to 10 million euros, however other developments are expected if an agreement between the parties will be closed or not.

For Berat Gjimshit, this is the sixth season in a row with Atalanta and the ninth in Italy.

He has not yet given his consent for this transfer, but the offer that the sheikhs will make, could tempt the captain to make his future in Qatar.

Part of Atalanta since 2016 (with an experience at Avellino in the 2017-18 season), Gjimshiti boasts 240 games with the black and white shirt, 8 goals and 8 assists for a total of 18,873 minutes played.

During this season, the captain of Albania played 54 matches in all competitions, scoring 1 goal, plus 1 assist.
