Just 39 days on the bench, Premier League club sacks coach

Ange Postecoglou

Ange Postecoglou is no longer Nottingham Forest manager. The 60-year-old's adventure on the bench lasted just 39 days, when he replaced the departed Nuno Espirito Santo.

The recent defeat to Chelsea at home, with a score of 0-3, proved fatal for Postecoglou.

The coach was immediately notified of his dismissal from the team management.

This is the shortest adventure for a manager in the history of a Premier League club, during the season.

In eight matches he managed Nottingham, Postecoglou recorded six losses and two draws, without a single win.
