Haaland gives City the win, Burnley returns to victory, but there are no minutes for Broja

Manchester City triumphed 2-0 over Everton at home, in the duel valid for the eighth week in the Premier League.

The "Citizens" were able to take advantage of Erlind Haaland's double to secure three important points, which temporarily put them at the top of the standings with 16 points.

Burnley returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Leeds United. There were no minutes in the match for international striker Armando Broja, who was on the bench for the entire match.

Newcastle were stunned on the road, where they were defeated 2-1 by Brighton, while Sunderland won 2-0 against Wolves.

The other duel between Crystal Palace and Bournemouth ended in a spectacular draw with the score 3-3.

While Chelsea triumphed cleanly over Nottingham Forest away, with a score of 3-0.

The first half ended goalless, while the second was a different story. Acheampong opened the scoring in the 49th minute, while three minutes later, Pedro Neto doubled the lead.

In the end, James sealed the match, scoring Chelsea's third goal in the 84th minute.

With this success, the London Blues climb to fourth place with 14 points accumulated. Nottingham holds 17th place with only five points, while this is the third consecutive defeat in the championship.
