International cocaine trafficking, former Inter and Roma star arrested in
Radja Nainggolan

Former Cagliari, Inter and Roma Serie A player Radja Nainggolan, who just a few days ago signed with Lokeren-Temse, was arrested today in Belgium.

The 36-year-old midfielder, according to Belgian media, is suspected of being involved in international drug trafficking.

The federal police in Brussels carried out several checks this morning following an investigation into the importation of cocaine from South America to Europe through the port of Antwerp, and the redistribution of the drug in Belgium.

The operation, which spanned the province of Antwerp, the city of Brussels and the outskirts of the capital, led to the arrest of over thirty people. Nainggolan is currently being questioned.

Just a few days ago, on Friday evening, the midfielder scored in his debut match against Lierse in a Serie B match in Belgium.

We recall that in August 2021, Radja Nainggolan was stopped by Antwerp police for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.

As a result, his license was revoked, but the former Belgian national team midfielder was arrested a few months later, precisely because he was driving without a valid driver's license.
