Uzuni introduces himself to Austin: I came to break records

Myrto Uzuni is officially a player for Austin in MLS. The American club had reached an agreement for the Albanian striker for days, and now the official announcement has come.

In his first words on the club's website, Uzuni appeared very happy about this new adventure, saying that the goal is to break records.

"One of the main reasons I joined Austin is the ambition that Anthony Precourt (president) and Rodolfo Borrell (sports director) have for this team, which matches my ambition to always succeed with a winning mentality. I can tell the Austin fans that I will do everything in my power to score goals and help the team push towards achieving our objectives. I am coming here to break records," said Uzuni.

The 29-year-old striker left Granada, where he had been since 2022. Uzuni has signed a contract until 2027 with Austin, with the option of a renewal for another season, and will wear the number 10 shirt.
