Delegation of Albanian athletes in Paris
The Paris 2024 Olympic Games have officially started today with a ceremony on the Seine River where the athletes who will compete until August 11 will participate.
Unlike other years, where the parade ceremony takes place with the march to the stadium of the athletes from the various participating countries, this year the French have thought that the athletes' parade will take place in boats on the Seine River.
The Albanian delegation was also part of the third boat that went out to the part of the river where the ceremony takes place, with wrestler Zelimkhan Abakarov who was the bearer of the red and black flag. Albania competes with 8 athletes.
