Juventus make first contact for Zirkzee, but United demand purchase obligation

The priority in the winter transfer window is to bring in a defender, but Juventus are also looking for a striker.

Joshua Zirkzee is the main target of the Bianconeri, for whom the Italians have already initiated the first contacts. Reports from Italy say that Juventus are negotiating with Manchester United to reach an agreement for the 23-year-old.

Juventus want a simple loan, something that is not accepted by the English.

The latter are looking to sell the Dutchman and want the loan to be with an obligation to buy at the end of the season.

Coach Thiago Motta is looking forward to a reunion with the striker, with Zirkzee having his breakout season at Bologna a season ago.
