The highest body of world football, FIFA, has decided to block the incoming transfer market for Vllaznia for three periods. In addition to them, Erzeni, Burreli and Shkupi (the Albanian club in North Macedonia) are also blocked.
This means that clubs are unable to register any new players in the January transfer window unless they pay off the obligations to the parties who have complained and thus be unblocked.
It is not known for any of the teams which players or former managers may have won the lawsuits for unpaid wages, while FIFA has recognized the rights of the complainants and has blocked the clubs' transfer market.
Woodlands
Shkodran ended 2024 with a 2-0 defeat to Partizan and in the transfer market they have found a deal with Serjan Repaj and Alfred Mensah. In fact, Repaj was presented by Vllaznia for the next three years, but the fact is that FIFA has blocked the registrations for new players. With 31 points after 19 weeks of the championship, Vllaznia holds third place in the Super League and this development seems to have stirred the waters in the Shkodran camp.
Burrel
The surprise of the First Category. Burreli is in fourth place and with Ditmar Bicaj on the bench has really had a good season, beyond the expectations of the beginning. The transfer market blockage seems to affect new approaches.
Erzen
The Shijakas are in crisis after being relegated from the Super League and being in the First Division have not brought any more investments.
The solution
If each club settles the complaints according to the decisions of the sports justice, then the transfer market is automatically open.
