Lewis Hamilton "couldn't be more excited" as he begins his new journey with Ferrari in 2025.
His new contract began on January 1 and the seven-time world champion says he is "embracing new opportunities, still searching and moving forward with a purpose."
He commented on a LinkedIn post to express his initial emotions, adding:
“Let’s make it memorable. With the move to the Ferrari team, there’s a lot to reflect on. To all those thinking about the next step in 2025: embrace change. Whether it’s changing industries, learning a new skill or taking on new challenges, remember that reinvention is powerful. Your next opportunity is within reach.”
The champion also posted a photo of himself racing when he was younger and wearing a red helmet, which is Ferrari's iconic color.

The team has given few details, but the driver will visit the factory, drive the simulator and test a 2023 car, activities aimed at adapting him to the team and the operation of the car.
Ferrari's new car will be unveiled on February 19. Pre-season testing is scheduled for February 26-28 in Bahrain where Hamilton and Leclerc will split time using the new car.
