He hit the referee, a severe punishment for the President of Vllaznia

Vllaznia's president, Alban Xhaferi, has been suspended for 15 matches for attacking the match referee and is also banned from entering stadiums during this period.

The decision is related to the incident that occurred after the end of the Elbasani-Vllaznia match, when the second assistant referee, Ergys Spahiu, was heading towards the tunnel to the locker rooms. At that moment, there was a clash between him and the president of Vllaznia, where Xhaferi punched the match official.

The episode was filmed and the footage quickly spread on social media, causing numerous reactions in the sports community. The published videos show the tense moment, while security personnel immediately intervene to avoid escalating the situation.

In the same match, Vllaznia coach Edi Martini was shown a red card after protesting against referee decisions. In the background were also two goals by Vllaznia disallowed for offside. The Shkodran coach has been suspended for 6 weeks for violating basic rules of conduct towards match officials.

Elbasan will also suffer, as they will be fined 1 million lekë for poor organization of the match against Vllaznia.

Tensions were also present in the Skënderbeu-Dinamo match, where the capital's coach, for protesting against the decisions of the match officials, was sentenced to a 2-match suspension from activities.
