Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the Albanian Parliament on Tuesday afternoon via a direct link from Ukraine.
While congratulating the Albanians on Eid al-Fitr, the Ukrainian leader drew attention to the atrocities being committed in the country he leads, while emphasizing that entire cities are being destroyed by bombing and that innocent civilians are dying.
As he has addressed to other European countries, Zelenskyy asked Albania to take measures against Russia. He called for a reduction in trade with Russia and the closure of gates for Russian ships and tourists.
You can never know, he said, whether those who come could be those who carried out the Bucha massacre or other atrocities in Ukraine.
