The former mayor of Durrës, Vangjush Dako, has appealed the measure of arrest in prison given to him a few days ago.

He was arrested by order of SPAK, on ​​the charge of abuse of office. Through his defense lawyer, Dako, has appealed to the Special Appeal to change the decision given by judge Erion Bani that left the former number one of the municipality in the cell until the end of the investigations.

The lot has not yet been cast in the Court of Appeal to appoint the judge and the date when the hearing will be considered.

Vangjush Dako was arrested by order of the Posaccme Prosecutor's Office on the suspicion of abuse of office in two installments.

The first related to the granting of permission for the construction of a building in Durrës in violation of the law and the tender for the purchase of a project for the development of the coastline that increased its value 10-fold.
