The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, says that the decision of Prime Minister Edi Rama to cancel the meeting of the governments of Albania and Kosovo is revenge of the Albanian Prime Minister.

Berisha says that Rama canceled the meeting of governments on the order of Serbian President Vucic.

"Rama, by order of Vucic, cancels the meeting with the government of Kosovo! In an anti-national act of the abhorrent argati of the Serbian Vucic, entangled by the McGonigal scandal, Edi Rama blackened with a ridiculously idiotic protagonist, announced the cancellation of the long-announced meeting between the two governments of Albania and Kosovo as the beginning of sanctions against this government.

This decision to cancel the meeting as revenge for the rejection by the government and the political forces of Kosovo of his draft received in the drawers of Belgrade, proves what this man is willing to do for the Serbian Vucic, but also for his own skin, after is under criminal investigation for the McGonigal affair, the corruption of the former New York counterintelligence chief while he was in office. I add here that, weeks ago, McGonigal's Albanian file with main characters Rama and his associates was joined due to the links with the Russian file.

I condemn with the greatest severity the act of Edi Rama's brutal intervention in the internal affairs of Kosovo and call on the international community not to forget that Edi Rama is defending personal interests in this quarrel with the government of Kosovo and that, since his arrival in power, he is the main protagonist of the projects of Greater Serbia and the division of Kosovo with Aleksandër Vucic.

Finally, I call on the authorities of Kosovo to make every effort to de-escalate the situation and return to the agenda of the Ohrid Agreement and its implementation as the best interest of Kosovo, but also of peace and stability in the region", says Berisha .
