The Socialist Party has proposed passing a draft law through an accelerated procedure, which essentially suspends all work on the coast during the summer season.

"We have proposed that in the draft law on tourism, construction works be suspended during the tourist season, guaranteeing higher quality of the tourist offer in our country. The rest has to do with the electronic register of tourists."

There should be a system for registering people who are accommodated in that hotel structure. Including a case that I made public together with Kavaja MPs, regarding the impossibility but also the incompetence, the case of the Kavaja municipality is more unique, where a municipality has left the waste management part out of control, while the accommodation structures should have a designated place for waste management.

"The hotel can't just throw its waste in the neighborhood trash can," said Taulant Balla.
