Journalist Lavdërim Lita says he has information that Flamur Noka has offered to resign as Secretary General of the Democratic Party several times.
However, according to the journalist, the resignation was not accepted by Berisha, who insisted that Noka remain in office.
Lita argues that Berisha wants Noka in the leadership structures to maneuver the party according to his political goals and objectives.
"I will tell you as news, that I know a long time ago, Mr. Noka has offered his resignation to Mr. Berisha several times, but it is Mr. Berisha who insists that Mr. Noka stay there, because he wants him there, to maneuver the entire party according to his political goals and objectives."
Anyone can come out and deny that Mr. Noka will leave, but they won't let him. Because if Mr. Noka leaves, it means that someone else will take responsibility, while the mayor should take responsibility after every election loss. These are not sacrifices, they are techniques...
"In the DP, it is Mr. Berisha who decides and Mr. Noka who implements Mr. Berisha's orders. Mr. Noka remembers 90 percent of the things Mr. Berisha says! Not only in Parliament, but also in conversations with people. This has been going on for years," Lita told A2.
