"One minute, let me speak" - Debate at the DP National Council meeting, the former candidate accuses Berisha

The meeting of the National Council of the Democratic Party was accompanied by tensions at its conclusion, after former candidate for MP, Ilirjana Kuçana, clashed verbally with the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.

Initially, Kuçana asked to speak, but was not allowed. She then accused Berisha of violating the Democratic Party's statute.

For his part, Berisha asked the former candidate to respect the party's rules and statute, emphasizing that presenting resolutions has its own procedures.

Kuçana: Please, I have a request that I filed 24 hours ago. We are members of the National Council. Please, implement the statute.

Berisha: One minute, let me speak. The presentation of resolutions has its own rules. You will have the right to present as many times as you want, but only according to the rules. Read the statute.

Kuçana: You violated the statute from the moment you expelled 34 people.

Berisha: Ilirjana, you communicated with me today, I responded and told you: follow the statute.
