The opposition protest is held today.

As announced, the rally will start at 5:30 p.m., in front of the Prime Minister's Office, on the "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard.

This is the first protest of such a size where Berisha will not be physically present due to the 'house arrest' measure. It is learned that Berisha will speak through technology at the protest.

February 20, which also coincides with the bust of Enver Hoxha, is a turning point for pluralism in the country and according to the organizers of the protest, that's why this day has been set.

This protest has put the State Police on alert. It is learned that over 1,100 police forces, starting from those of order, FNSH, the Eagles and the Guard of the Republic, will be on the ground for the smooth progress of the protest.

RENEA forces will also be on standby. There will also be water tankers if needed in case of incidents. As in any protest, a cordon will be created with police officers in front of the prime minister's office and the perimeter around it.

Civil agents will also be involved in the field, to monitor the progress of the protest. The doors of the prime minister's office will be armored with metal cladding. The police have installed high-resolution cameras along the entire boulevard 'Dëshmorët e Kombit'.

The road segments that are blocked 2 hours before the start of the protest until its end are:

"Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, "Mother Teresa" square, "Ismail Qemali" street, from the intersection of Elbasan street with "Ibrahim Rugova" street, "Papa John Paul II" street, "Zhan D'Ark" boulevard and " Bajram Curri", from the intersection of Elbasani Street with "Ibrahim Rugova" Street.
