During his statement after the end of the NATO summit, Mark Rutte confirmed that the next summit will be held in Albania.
However, he added that the parties are now in talks to decide when this summit will take place.
"The next summit will be held in Albania, this was the decision of The Hague. The summit will be held in Albania, but we will have to decide on the time and when," Rutte said.
Immediately after this, Prime Minister Rama also reacted, who, through a video posted on social networks, alongside his governing cabinet, said:
"What did they say? The summit will not be held in Albania. Is that what they said? Well, the time when what others wanted was done in Albania is gone."
"Now Albania does what it says and says what it does. So the next summit will be held in Tirana."
