The Constitutional Court publishes the calendar, here is the date when Berisha's request will be reviewed!

The Constitutional Court has published the hearing calendar for some of the most important cases that will be reviewed in September and October.

The focus is on demands related to the election of the People's Advocate and the security measures against the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha .

According to the official announcement, on September 29, 2026, at 11:00, the Constitutional Court will review the request of Ervin Salianj, who opposes the decisions of the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction and the Court of the Tirana Judicial District, requesting their annulment on the grounds that they conflict with the Constitution of the Republic of Albania.

Meanwhile, on October 8, 2026, at 11:00, the Constitutional Court will hold a plenary session to review the request of Sali Berisha, who requests the annulment of the decisions of the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, as well as the Criminal Chamber of the High Court.

The leader of the Democratic Party claims that these decisions are contrary to the Constitution and demands the lifting of the security measure "obligation to appear", which is in force against him.

All three issues will be reviewed in plenary sessions based on the documentation administered by the Constitutional Court.
