Rama receives the Commander of the United States Naval Forces

Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting today with the Commander of the United States Naval Forces in Europe and Africa, Admiral Stuart B. Munsch, in the framework of cooperation between Albania and the US in the field of defense and security.

In a post on social media, Rama emphasized that the meeting focused on the concrete steps that Albania is taking to revive the military industry, as well as on the development of major strategic projects, including Corridor VIII and the New Port of Durres.

"In the meeting with the Commander of the United States Naval Forces in Europe and Africa, Admiral Stuart B. Munsch, in the context of the steps that Albania is taking for the revival of the military industry, as well as the progress of the Corridor VIII and New Port of Durres projects," Rama writes.

Also present at the meeting was the United States Chargé d'Affaires in our country, Nancy Vanhorn.
