After the meeting with the Albanian emigrants in Athens, Prime Minister Edi Rama was asked by the Greek media if his visit is related to the case of Fredi Beleri, since it coincided with the 1st anniversary of his arrest for vote buying in Himara.

Rama said that his visit has nothing to do with Beleri, while for the Greek media 'Star' he added that this is the story of Greek politics and not of Albania.

" There is no such issue, it is not history for us. This is the history of Greek politics. It is not our story and it has nothing to do with us ," said Rama.

Among other things, after his speech in Athens, the Prime Minister was asked about Greek-Albanian relations, where he said: " I hope we will manage to do something that matches the fantastic relations between the ordinary people of Greece and Albania." They deserve better and we should give them very different policies ."

Prime Minister Rama held a meeting with immigrants in Athens yesterday, May 12, a meeting that also marked the start of the tour with the diaspora.
