And while in the last 48 hours he has issued a series of criticisms and accusations against SPAK and GJKKO, Prime Minister Edi Rama will not stop there.
In a message on social media, he warns of the next message to justice.
"Tomorrow morning again, face to face for a discussion that must continue, for our duty to guarantee the independence of justice from political power and at the same time to raise our voice when we notice abuses of independence to the detriment of democratic standards. Albania 2030 must and will be in the European Union also for an independent justice, which guarantees democratic standards and respects the constitutional separation of powers ," Rama writes.
Meanwhile, today, Edi Rama did not hesitate to compare the Special Prosecution Office with the investigation of the communist dictatorship, after the arrest of Erion Veliaj.
"We are not here as fence posts to simply and only report news. On the contrary, we fall into a situation that resembles the past more than the future. Why because Albania has had a dictatorship or a republic of investigators in the past. This is a parliamentary republic, where, based on the Constitution, the powers are independent," Rama said before the socialist deputies.
With the allusion that Veliaj is in prison only for his wife's dresses and jewelry, the Prime Minister said that the SPAK file has no evidence and publicly challenged finding them. Rama said that he has met and talked with the witnesses in this file, who he says have been intimidated.
The attack continued against the judge who ordered Veliaj's arrest, calling him close to the Democrats, as the mayor had done from his cell. For this, he used a message sent to his cell phone by a citizen, a move similar to those of Sali Berisha who reads the denunciations of digital citizens.
