September 11, 08:10The 400 members of the Socialist National Assembly will gather at the Palace of Congresses at 10:00, where Socialist leader Edi Rama will unveil in detail the governing program for the next four years.
The Socialist leader has held meetings and intensive telephone conversations with those he believes will be his closest collaborators in the Council of Ministers, regarding the position of number two in the government and who he will entrust with the leadership of Parliament and the parliamentary group.
The following day, on Friday, Socialist MPs, along with those from the opposition, will address Parliament to be sworn in.
Despite his older age, Sali Berisha will not lead the constitutive session, after a refusal.
Another doctor will sit at the head of Parliament for a few hours to preside over the session and take the oath.
