Ermal Dredha's resignation today from the leadership of the Vlora municipality is not a bolt from the blue. It is merely the epilogue of a clash with Prime Minister Rama, and it was known that this would be the end.

Lapsi writes that the political leader of the Socialists, Bledi Çuçi, had traveled to Vlora, whose mission was to ensure that Ermal Dredha would finalize his forced resignation.

And not only that, but before leaving office, he also appointed a new vice mayor, who will assume the powers of the mayor.

Elis Halili, the man behind the "Fusha" company in Vlora, was appointed today as deputy mayor.

A message he sent to employees was also discovered and distributed in WhatsApp groups.


In his message, Dredha confirms his departure from the post, thanking all collaborators for their support during this period.
