From medicinal cannabis to the "Mountain Package" and the opening of the EP office, the assembly approves 10 draft laws with the votes of the socialists

Ten draft laws were approved by a majority vote in today's plenary session, amid debates with the opposition members present in the hall.

The draft law " On the ratification of the facility agreement between Albania and the EU" received 73 votes in favor, while the one for the "Mountains Package" received, in addition to 73 votes in favor from the majority, 1 against and 1 abstention from opposition deputies in the hall.

The cultivation of medical cannabis received a majority of votes with 74 of them, none against and no abstentions. The draft law on assistance received 73 votes in favor and the abstention of MP Leskaj. 

The extensions of the deadlines of the Special and Disinformation Commissions of Fatmir Xhafaj and Erion Braçe were also approved with 73 votes in favor, none against and no abstentions.

The draft law " On the ratification of the agreement between the Republic of Albania and the European Investment Bank regarding the opening of a representative office of the European Investment Bank in Albania" secured 72 votes in favor and no votes against or abstentions.

It was notable that two opposition MPs, Bujar Leskaj and Nusret Avdulla, also voted for him.

The draft law " On the ratification of the loan agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Abu Dhabi Development Fund for financing the project "Camera system under the administration of the State Police - Smart City" for the State Police and the Ministry of Interior received 74 votes in favor, 1 against by Bujar Leskaj and no abstentions.

The draft law " On the ratification of the loan agreement between the Republic of Albania, as borrower, the Bank of Albania, as agent of the borrower, and the European Union , represented by the European Commission, as lender, for the "Reform and Enlargement Facility for the Western Balkans", received 74 votes in favor, none against and no abstentions.

The draft law " On the ratification of the agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on the mutual protection of classified information" received 73 votes in favor, none against and no abstentions.
