Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha held a press conference this Thursday where he commented on the lists of candidates for MPs.
Berisha said, among other things, that he thinks that the "fight" to overthrow the government cannot be waged with the opposition of the opposition, but only with the true opposition of the majority, which according to him is only the "Greater Albania" coalition.
Asked how he views Dashnor Sula's candidacy on the "Albania Initiative" list, after the DP left him off the coalition list, Berisha said that it is his choice, but considered the merger with what he described as "Edi Rama's crutch" a wrong step.
"The prime minister's defense is a Judas kiss for Dash Sula, who has his own career, but I think that the step he took by aligning himself with the opposition of the opposition, that is, with a crutch of Edi Rama, is not the right solution. That's my opinion, but I think that the choice is everyone's freedom," said Berisha.
