Edi Rama

Prime Minister Edi Rama has described the protests taking place in Tirana these days as a hybrid war that operates by exploiting the real concerns of citizens.

Rama also said that through the attacks, the idea is being created that all of Albania is burning, but in fact, according to him, the attacks are organized by hands trained for this work, only in a predetermined perimeter.

"Interests related to money, politics, and power, of course, in the sense of the screaming need to use this social unrest and turn it into waves of stones to overthrow the government by imposing violence, which will never happen, but which weighs dramatically on the psychology of citizens. It creates the idea that all of Albania is burning here, while this is an organized attack in a well-defined perimeter, orchestrated by hands that are trained for this work, which is fed with gasoline like an internal fire by foreign actors. This is understood and is now becoming a big issue throughout Europe. It is a hybrid war that works because it is based on real concerns, not fantasies. Of course, concerns about a safe tomorrow in relation to housing and the opportunities to have more are real," Rama said, among other things.
