The chairman of the "Albania Becomes" party, Adriatik Lapaj, reacted through a Facebook status where he explained the reason why he included his father as a candidate for MP on the safe list.

Ferman Lapaj is first on the list in the Berat district for the "Shqipëria Bëhet" coalition.

According to Adriatik Lapaj, the closed lists of the "Albania Initiative" coalition are fictitious, with family members of the candidates included as guarantees so that all coalition members can compete on the open list.

" The closed lists of the Albania Is Made Initiative are composed of the parents and family members of the candidates as a guarantee for the open lists."

All members of our coalition leaderships are running on an open list, including the chairmen.

"The open list means that the ranking of the candidate does not matter. In the end, the ranking will be made according to the votes each person receives ," said Lapaj.
