The Albanian National Alliance party has decided to withdraw from the coalition with the Democratic Party .

The leader of this political force, Gjet Ndoj, has made the decision to leave the coalition led by Sali Berisha.

Apparently disappointed by the lists of candidates for MPs, Ndoj announced through a post on social media that the Albanian National Alliance AAK will not participate in the elections of May 11, 2025.

Raising accusations against the opposition, the AAK leader says that there is still no right wing that people can trust without fear.

"Due to the dysfunction of the relationship in the coalition "For a Great Albania", the National Albanian Alliance withdraws from this coalition. It also withdraws from all electoral activities for the parliamentary elections of May 2025. We make this request-declaration to be freed from any obligation arising from participation in the elections," states the handwritten request of the National Albanian Alliance party.

Yesterday, the Alliance of Macedonians for European Integration, led by Vasil Sterjovski , also withdrew from the coalition with Berisha.
