Prime Minister Edi Rama went to the Ministry of Education today where he spoke about the violent protests that have been taking place in Tirana for several days.
"We are here in this institution that has become the object of attack and in fact of a real aggression with stones torn from the sidewalks of Durrës street. It has been placed in the spotlight for only one reason, to camouflage what is actually at the poisoned source of this protest."
To create the idea that this is a protest for education and to justify this wave of violence that has nothing to do with students or pupils. Within that group there are also students who are extreme in their views, who belong to new currents of political extremism, but the problem is never the students exercising their right to protest.
"Here we are talking about the exercise of violence. I took this stone in my hand and when you imagine the weight it takes when thrown towards the police, it is a weapon that can cause a tragedy. This stone determines where the right to protest ends," Rama said, among other things.
