The Speaker of the Kosovo Parliament,  Albulena Haxhi , has reacted to the protests taking place in Albania, asking Albanian institutions to listen to and address the demands of protesting students.

After the meeting of the Presidency of the Assembly, Haxhiu stated that developments in Albania are also followed with concern in Kosovo, emphasizing the connection between the two countries.

"Everyone in Kosovo has followed the developments in Albania. What is happening there certainly concerns us all, because Albania is home for us," she said.

Haxhiu emphasized that  the Parliament, Government , and Presidency of Albania have the responsibility to address the students' demands.

She spoke out against violence, emphasizing that it must be stopped by both sides.

Haxhiu: The Assembly, the Government and the Presidency have an obligation to address the students' demands. Of course, we do not support violence, it must be stopped by both sides", declared the Kosovo Speaker of Parliament. She also demanded a serious approach from Albanian institutions towards the protests, warning that arrogant positions can increase dissatisfaction. A serious approach to these protests is important - not arrogance. I think arrogance only fuels the protests.
