The government has denied that KESH has sold electricity cheaper than the price on the stock exchange. The answer came from Prime Minister Edi Rama himself, who emphasizes that this is simply a lie that is being used by the opposition and some media to incite hatred towards the government.
"It lies without harm at all, as if it were sung, let's hear it, a whole orchestra of ignorance and wickedness, channel after channel, portal after portal, entering numbers in vain, rambling words to poison the people and incite hatred towards the government! To the point where there is no logic anymore", writes Rama.
The heavy rains that have fallen since Saturday evening have improved the water situation and KESH has sold electricity. This has brought the reaction of the opposition, which accuses the government of not stopping the import of energy.
Sali Berisha said yesterday from Shkodra that the majority is selling energy at a price four times lower than what they buy because of the contracts they signed before.
