Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting with tourist operators today in the coastal city of Vlora. While talking about the progress made in this city, Rama talked about the Vlora airport project. According to the head of the government, with the continuation of the works, the airport will be completed at the end of 2024.

"I am glad that we have now started with two large construction sites that will give a great boost to tourism and the economy. The tourist port will bring another category of tourists to Vlora and the new commercial port that will facilitate the fishing industry... With the new shipyards that have been opened and will be opened, they will give a new impulse to Vlora. Without forgetting the airport, where the works are going very well and we will have the first flight at the end of 2024 and we hope there will be no surprises. Vlora airport had delays that were beyond our control, but now it is completely on track and if nothing unforeseen happens, I am confident that at the end of 2024 we will have the first flight".

Thus, Rama has not spared the opposition. Rama said that due to the great misfortune of this country, Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta are still active in Albanian politics, while Lulzim Basha is not.

Rama said that Lulzim Basha was never at the head of the DP, adding that after him was Sali Berisha

To the great misfortune of this country, they are a continuation of the curse that started when the Albanian state started here in Vlora in 1912. There was never a flower.
