Florian Binaj has doubts: "The Citizens' Assembly" seemed

One of the protesters of the civic protest that has been going on for 50 days on Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard, Florjan Binaj, stated that he was not aware of the Civic Assembly meeting. He said that he does not see it as a representative of the protest.

"Not only was I not present, but I had no idea that an assembly had been created."

Absolutely, (I wasn't informed). Yesterday I saw those images of some people that seemed a bit contrived to me, to be honest.

It seemed to me something not very representative, because I think that if it has to be done, those people there in the square, all the people there in the square, should be asked.

"I only recognized Armir Shkurti, I was able to distinguish Mr. Sazan Guri there. So Mr. Shkurti and Mr. Guri. I didn't know the rest at all, I haven't seen them,"  Binaj told A2.

According to him, there is an attempt to divide from within the protest that comes from politics to undo what is happening in the square.

"The effort is political after they spent all the possible bullets with which they have killed every protest that has been there before, whether it's students, prices, or many other things."

After using up these cartridges that once worked, today they no longer work because the masks have fallen off, because people have already distinguished who is who, for whom, who works, for whom and for what.

These people are now trying to tear it apart from within. So, to plant seeds, to plant a bad seed to tear it apart from within.

By introducing radical elements, by introducing problematic elements, by introducing people who throw words around to provoke people, and undoubtedly this moment that we were waiting for would come and it has even come quite late. That they would do their best to create something parallel, calling it whatever they want.

"Maybe they can create two, three, four, five, seven other parallel assemblies so that people don't find themselves where they are, so they can undo what was done in the square and at the end of the day then achieve the goal of undoing the protest," he emphasized.

According to Binaj, the protest has no head and this is its success. He said that the protest has changed form over the days, but continues to rely on citizen participation, while expressing his determination to continue being part of the protest.

"Protest is a body that breathes, inflates and deflates, because it is made up of people. I believe that standing in the square is an experience that does not come through a screen. Protest has no head and if I am here, I am representing myself.

"I am and have put all my specific artistic weight and others in favor of the protest, because I think these demands are fair. We have no representation and this has been the success of the longevity of this protest that has no head ," Binaj emphasized.

Florian Binaj emphasized that one of the main achievements of this movement is raising awareness among citizens and internationalizing issues related to developments in the country, especially the damage to nature and protected areas.
