The leader of the Opportunity Party, Agron Shehaj, has once again responded to Socialist MP Taulant Balla, following their recent clashes over the opposition's villas.

Accusations and retorts between the head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, and the leader of the Mundësia party, Agron Shehaj, have continued again regarding the latter's villa in Italy, which he said he sold for 15 million euros.

Balla reacted to Shehaj's statements, asking him not to seek Berisha's support, but to provide an answer on the issue of his villa in Italy, as according to him, the Cadastre there shows that it has not been sold.

"Oh gono, where are you? After you even brought out Saliu, 82 years old, in the heat, at 12 noon, just to protect you. Leave Saliu alone now, don't use him as a lawyer. Gono, say, I bought it for 2.9 million, I sold it for 15 million. That's it. Just clarify: did you sell it or not? Because in the Italian cadastre it looks like you didn't sell it," said Balla.

After this post on social networks, Agron Shehaj, has responded to the socialist MP about his villas. Shehaj has published complete data with documents, where according to him he has made total transparency regarding the properties in Italy.

According to the Italian documents that Shehaj has published, the villa he declared in the ILDKPI, sold for 15 million euros, is a property purchased in 2019 and then rebuilt a year later, with at least another 4 million euros. Shehaj has also published data regarding another villa, which Balla published a few days ago.

"I am doing what no other politician in the entire history of Albania has done: Total transparency regarding my properties. I bought this property in Italy in 2019, 2.9 million euros. In 2020 I received a building permit to build a villa of almost 500 m2. I invested 4 million euros in the reconstruction. Here are the asset declarations where everything is declared and in 2025 I sold it for 15 million euros. Everything is controlled, especially in Italy where no one forgives you. If you break the law, they put you in prison. I bought this villa for 10 million euros, it is bigger, of course, I will invest it and I can sell it for 25 million euros, if I sell it well, if I don't sell it, I will keep it for myself.

I don't need to hide anything because I made my money with honest work, while they stole from the poorest people in Europe and they are furious, they have gone crazy and started attacking me by slandering me. He sold it for 15 million euros, laundered the money, here we are with the cameras, but I challenge them: Go out and do the same thing!

"They are attacking us because they have run out of ink, they have reached their end. They are using all the propaganda machinery they have. But they will not succeed because people are clear, I have raised my children with honest work, while they have raised them with the money of Albanian citizens, the poorest people in Europe," said Shehaj.
