Today, three months after taking office at the head of the state, President Bajram Begaj will convene the National Security Council.

It is reported that Prime Minister Edi Rama, Minister Olta Xhaçka, Bledi Çuçi and Niko Pleshi will participate in the Security Council.

It is learned that in this meeting the focus of the talks will be the cyber attack on Albania by Iran. We remind you that the meeting of the Security Council comes after Albania has twice fallen prey to cyber attacks from Iran within a few months.

In July, government portals were attacked, paralyzing the entire system, while a week later, the TIMS system was attacked, where sensitive data of convicted or recently convicted persons and police officers continue to flow from this attack.

After cooperation with the USA, Albania found that the attack came from Iran and the country cut off all diplomatic relations with Iran.
