The General Secretary of the Socialist Party, Damian Gjiknuri, expresses his conviction that the Socialist Party will be behind this reorganization that has started an invincible organization capable of winning the next elections. Speaking at the beginning of the Assembly, Gjiknuri stressed that the SP has the competition with itself.

Speaking about next year's local elections, Gjiknuri expressed his conviction for "the victory of the vast majority of municipalities.

I am convinced that this party will be invincible again and will win the vast majority of the municipalities of this country, why not all, but I am still convinced that the vast majority of the municipalities of the country will be under the leadership again and PS. Gjiknuri nënvizoi se reforma që do të ndiqet do i shërbejë evidentimit të njerëzve të duhur për drejtimin në bazë të partisë, por dhe për të pasur një organizatë konkurruese.

“Nuk ka formulë tjetër të suksesit afatgjatë po s’pate rigjenerim të vazhdueshëm qoftë me njerëz të rinj, por mbi të gjitha me ide të reja. Dhe pikërisht ky proces që do të ndjekim, sidomos fillimi i ngritjes së sturkturave organizative në të gjithë territorin e Shqipërisë, flas për kryetarët e partive në nivel vendor apo dhe Sekretariatin e ri Ekzekutiv të shtrirë në çdo bashki të vendit, i shërben forcimit të organizatës. Jo vetëm me njerëz të rinj, por mbi të gjitha të bëhet tamam një organizatë, me një skelet të fortë strukturor administrativ që pavarësisht garave të ndryshme, vështirësive dhe humbjeve herë pas here në vende të caktuara, ne të kemi një parti solide, me sturkturë të qartë dhe që është gjithmonë e përgatitur të ringrihet apo të korrigjojë edhe gabimet aty ku ka nevojë për korrigjim. Dhe pikërisht ky organizim kësaj i vlen. Do të dojë një proces të veçantë dhe si çdo ta shikoni dhe nga Rregullorja e re për zgjedhjen e kryetarëve të partisë, do të jetë një process shumë konkurrues, shumë më ndryshe nga çka qenë më parë, do të kemi ballafaqim idesh, para anëtarësisë”, theksoi Sekretari i Përgjithshëm i PS, Damian Gjiknuri.
