The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha , accused Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Speaker of the Parliament, Niko Peleshi , of forcibly closing Parliament during the September 18 session, aiming to prevent citizens from being informed about the abuses and connections of the majority with crime.

In a statement to the media, Berisha announced that the DP will send Pelesh's no-confidence motion to the Constitutional Court.

He also stressed that the opposition will focus on organizing protests, which according to him are the only way to fight "Rama's drug regime."

"The parliament was closed by Edi Rama and Niko Pelesh, who wanted at all costs that Albanians not learn about the monstrous thefts and abuses of the prime minister, his family and ministers," Berisha said.

Berisha concluded the statement by emphasizing that "protest is the only way the opposition has to challenge the narco-regime and impose the law and the Constitution on this regime."

Berisha:  As you saw, the parliament was closed by Edi Rama and Niko Pelesh, who wanted at all costs that Albanians did not understand, did not know about the thefts, the monstrous abuses of Edi Rama, his family and his ministers.

Albanians should not be familiar with the terrible criminal connections of Edi Rama's ministers and MPs. Albanians should not be familiar with the great deceptions that Edi Rama had prepared in his so-called program.

Therefore, they use violence, violating the Constitution, violating the rules of procedure to close the session.

This is an ongoing battle. We will insist in all ways. A decision has been made to request a no-confidence motion for Rama's Pelesh and it will be sent to the Constitutional Court.

Now I guarantee you that protest and only protest is the only way the opposition has to impose the law and the Constitution on this narco-regime.
