The well-known journalist Blendi Fevziu believes that the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha is not guilty, regarding the decision taken during his administration for the former owners, since the decision, although it favored his son-in-law, is a collegial decision.
Fevziu said that he has not seen the complete file of 5,000 pages and cannot speak about the accusations against Berisha's son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltez, who is currently in prison.
According to Fevzi, SPAK has attacked the opposition, to somehow balance after many arrests by the majority.
"It is the start of the investigation, there are no charges, which means that he can be found guilty or innocent. As far as I have seen the case, I think that the prime minister cannot be held responsible for collegial decisions during his governance. If the prime minister is found guilty in this matter, any prime minister can be found guilty.
As for the matter of his son-in-law, I know that he is the owner and I know the vicissitudes that the former owners have, but I do not know the relations with the parties, I believe that the person will clarify it himself. The issue also has a political cost. Hits against the opposition are expected. If we enter the issues from the majority, we cannot finish. Berisha is not under charges. Sali Berisha has been in this country for 33 years, he is not someone who runs away. As far as we have seen the file, it is around 5000 pages", said Fevziu in the show "The Unexposed".
