Although he did not participate in the vote, Prime Minister Rama says that after receiving approval in the Assembly with 74 votes in favor and 35 against, the construction of the Tourist Port will be an extraordinary economic engine for Durrës. 

As he accompanies it with a part of his speech in the Parliament, Rama publishes black and white images from the port of Durrës and shows the surfaces of rust and decay of dead vessels. Calling the current port an 'environmental scandal' and an 'urban blight', the head of the government shows how the transformation of the Port of Durrës will be done by foreign investment.

" Good morning... and with the pleasure of opening with last night's PRO vote the road for the construction of the Tourist Port, which will be an extraordinary economic engine for Durrës and the whole of Albania, I wish you a good day, " wrote Rama.
