Prime Minister Rama said today at the conference for the 50-year anniversary of the Congress of the spelling of the Albanian language that in fact the unified language is endangered today also due to the lack of personalities, which have no comparison with those of 5 decades ago.

Rama said that the criticism that this congress was held during communism is ridiculous.

" The near unanimity that was found for spelling 50 years ago is amazing, if you consider the bloody conflicts and exhausting processes other languages ​​have gone through to be counted and become the backbone of the social peace skeleton.

History teaches us that spelling, language and writing are a process of consolidating the spirit of the letter of a nation and the being of a nation. Missionaries of the Monastery Congress gave the message that the nation is one through a common alphabet. Spelling and unified language did the same in succession.

It is one of the few processes that in our history is similar in structure and method to other European countries. We were lucky enough to have the enlightened minds of distinguished people of this nation, even though we did not have a country.

Human resources and remarkable characters of this country, personalities much bigger than the geography of Albania. Who are the likes of Eqerem Ccabej, Mahir Dom, Alex Buda and so on, or Professor Emil ?" said Rama.
