PD MP Greta Bardeli Gjoni has commented on the 2023 Budget Project that the Government brought to Parliament yesterday.
According to her, this draft budget is discriminatory for the District of Shkodra.
No measure has been taken for the necessary investments in infrastructure, social assistance, economy, health or tourism.
"The 2023 budget project that the Government has brought to Parliament and that is passionately defended by the Prime Minister's court is discriminatory for the Shkodra Region and especially for the Shkodra Municipality.
No measures for the necessary investments in infrastructure, no provision for stopping social inequality, poverty and the collapse of small business, no steps to curb the dramatic increase in prices, no project to stop depopulation and therefore no concrete support to young people in education, health, agriculture, tourism, cultural heritage, historical etc.!
Shkodra pays every day the price of a Government that protects corrupt and criminal interests in the economy and that passionately hates the protection of the rights of our citizens! The budget project reconfirms what has been happening for 9 years: the isolation of the capital of the North in front of the money that is being thrown into the river for helicopter runways, tunnels and new roads for the super tourist villas of a handful of people who represent corrupt oligarchs who have taken the economy of Albanians by the throat! As for the numbers, the World Bank's forecast is shocking: Due to the lack of government support measures, poverty in the country will increase by 8.4%", writes the MP on Facebook.
