LUSHNJE / KARAVASTA / TIRANA - A sad news with consequences for the environment and wildlife comes from Divjaka, specifically from the Karavasta National Park. After several years of the government's moratorium in effect, the number of birds and creatures roaming free in the wild appeared to be on the rise. Data reported by specialized observers of flora and fauna showed year after year that individuals of such species as the curled pelican, territal hairy stork, bald swallow, wild roe deer, herds of bass and mullet, park rangers, had increased. nicknamed rejxhersa etc.
It seemed that the maintenance of the park and the return of wild life was on the right track, adding here the increase in the number of visitors, who showed particular interest in the species of park guards, with whom they often took pictures.
But last week's census shows a bitter truth: Despite the moratorium, the number of rangers has dropped sharply, almost by half.
According to the specialist Loni Betoni, " this year we noticed that the park guards have not only decreased, but they don't even make nests in the flora of Karavasta anymore, and the individuals that have returned to the park from last season are Zero".
Attempting to find the reason for the migration of this species, last year experts placed a small device with GPS on some of the rangers, and it turned out that they had all set up new nests in England, France, Germany, Italy, etc.

Surprised by this unexpected result, because the moratorium was supposed to increase the numbers of living life in the wonderful park, the specialists of the National Agency of Protected Areas seek to find the cause of this drama.
Speaking outside the cameras of the Patronage and requesting anonymity, AKZM expert Trifon Sqepi expressed his suspicion that perhaps one of the causes of the mysterious disappearance of the guards could be the granting of hundreds of permits for greenhouses, agricultural warehouses, ventilation and irrigation plants inside the territory of the Park.
"This may have narrowed the living spaces of the guards and they left. But this is just a hypothesis," said Trifon Sqepi in a low voice under conditions of anonymity.

It must be said that the Ministers of Environment and Agriculture, namely Mirela Kumbaraja and Krifa Fridca, have expressed their concern about this decline of the species.
Patronageist has learned that they have put forward the idea to try a new mating program - a project for which a modest tender of 5-6 million euros can be made - to increase the number of guard individuals. After an incubation period, the young reindeer can be released back into the wild.
But it is learned that the idea has stalled. This is because the guards of the Karavasta Park, who left, sent this message to the ministers:
"If you really want to pair us, bring us the other side here in England, Germany, France, etc. Otherwise, you're in trouble, mate yourself!"
