A citizen addressed police officers during the protest in front of the Ministry of Education, demanding to know the whereabouts of the police officer who knocked a protester to the ground.

He also spoke to the media, expressing his indignation over what, according to him, happened during the protest the day before.

"Where is the commander? We have grandchildren in prison. He has deceived people. Where is the commander? We are coming out with our faces, they could fire us. I will not do anything. I am not even a protester, nothing. I am outraged. I have a man who was kidnapped by the police. I am talking about the boy who threw himself into the street. The person who did it was the commander. My relatives, thank God, did nothing to him. But what we saw yesterday is terrible. It should not happen," said the citizen.

Another protester, during the rally in front of the Ministry of Education, demanded the punishment of the police officer who, according to him, knocked a young man to the ground during the protests.

The protester addressed the police in harsh tones, accusing them of exercising violence against young people while protecting people he described as thieves.

"The police officer who knocked the young man to the ground should be punished. Don't rape our children, don't touch them. You are protecting thieves," the protester said.

We remind you that for 5 days now, massive protests have been taking place in Tirana and the surrounding areas, where high school students and students have risen up against Prime Minister Edi Rama, while demanding the government's resignation.
