The tall one communicating with the short ones

TIRANA – The Tall One (foreign friends call him the Tall One, Quello Alto, O Psilos, Le Grand) answered yesterday on the airwaves through the program Eyes That Will Burst, all the questions and concerns of citizens – and any villager – regarding the latest developments in the country and government actions.

With his direct style, which does not accept pirouettes and ricochets, deviations and diversions, convections and projections, I Gjati has gone straight to the topic, spoken bluntly and hit the problem on the head, so much so that the poor problem did not know where its head was.

The first question had to do with Theth. No, it wasn't why he chose the peak of the tourist season to destroy the cabins and scare the tourists, but: Why did he recently invite all the locals to return and invest as soon as possible, saying that he would forgive their fines, when he knew that Theth, as a protected area, had no specific regulatory plan, and that those who would save fines in exchange for investment would be fined again? Or did he not know any of this, but just said what his people told him quickly and left?

To this question, Gjati answered: Finally, the capital's residents and pensioners will have their own dignified spaces under the palaces!

A pointed question was the broom to all directors and heads of socialist municipalities throughout the Western Balkans.

"Mr. Alto, did you just discover that these directors didn't work and only stole? Or did you let them make money, take what they needed for the elections and now you tell them: Enough, you ate, go away because the others will eat too?" wrote a tendentious type who lacked tact.

Here, the Tall One didn't hesitate: "Ahh, let me finish, did Saliu make you provoke, huh? As for the directors, watch this video with the foreign tourists who have flocked to Butrint. Do you know that Butrint was founded in the 7th century BC? I don't know at all, you idiot!"

A question with pepper, oregano, a little Tabasco and balsamic vinegar sprinkled with extra virgin olive oil, was about the municipality of Tirana.

"Oh master, I heard that Bella Ballukja will manage Tirana. Can she hold so many cucumbers under both armpits? Because you gave her energy, roads and finances, you also charged Fier for elections. Or is she planning to make SPAK easier when autumn comes? PS Is it possible that she is preparing Zegjinena to run Tirana?"

The Tall One couldn't stand it any longer. "Listen here," he wrote to the provocateur, "these views of Rodoni's beaches freed from unauthorized sunbeds speak better than any of my comments!"

But this point of debate was of such interest that an anonymous well-wisher with an address from Lugano, Switzerland, who seemed to have knowledge of English, joined the conversation:

"Mr. Tall, I had a small intervention. Since you put Lali inside and he's not even allowed to use phones, why don't you let me run Tirana from here? At least I'm free and can run things via viber! I assure you that I'm both a pear and an apple lover. I only like a peach every now and then. What do you say?".

To this guy, I Gjati did not respond back to him like in the cases above, but diverted him: "Okay, apply directly to the 'Turkish Head We Want' platform and let's talk!"
