Devil's dance, Mirditore Woman's Dress and Gramsh's Songs

The devolliçe dance, the dress of the Mirditore woman and the Gramsh strings are the three cultural heritages that have been declared National Treasures by the National Council of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

For their inalienable and rare values, receiving this status paves the way for them to be proposed to be declared world heritage by UNESCO.

"It is the first step to make a registration in UNESCO, these must first be registered in the Albanian national registers. The files are now more than 50% ready and can go to UNESCO", said Sokol Muça, head of the National Institute of Cultural Heritage Registration, in an interview for TV Klan.

This status not only gives them their rightful place as spiritual wealth, but also increases their monetary value, as has happened with the jubilee since it became part of UNESCO.

"The registrations have increased the interest of tourists and have made it return to a moment where they can also create material goods."

These three assets have brought to 103 the number of assets registered at the National Institute of Cultural Heritage Registration, this small number compared to what really are the traditions of Albania.

"100 is an interesting number, but I think we only have a few communities there," says the head of the National Institute of Cultural Heritage Registration.

This status confronts the institutions, but also the artisans to preserve and pass on as heritage.
