British police launch investigation into actor Russell Brand

The Metropolitan Police in Britain has announced the launch of an investigation into the well-known actor and comedian Russell Brand.

Brand has been under constant attack from the British media in recent days, following an investigation by the BBC and Channel 4, where it is alleged that he has sexually harassed, abused and raped several girls in the past.

In fact, there are four women who have filed claims against him under anonymity.

Brand himself, who has been running a YouTube channel for several years, has denied all accusations.

Some social networks have decided to temporarily suspend the actor's account, while others have refused, stating that the "presumption of innocence" should prevail.

The public as well as his friends are divided about the accusations.
