An American YouTuber ended up in the hospital after the hidden camera he was making went wrong.
The 21-year-old was making a hidden camera for the "delivery" driver, when the latter pulled out a pistol and shot him in the chest.
The video shows Tanner Cook, who runs the "Classified Goons" YouTube channel, harassing Alan Colie while he was picking up a grocery order at the Dulles Toën Center mall in Sterling, Virginia, on April 2 of this year.
Cook is seen following Colie through the mall while holding the phone up to her face as she plays the catchphrase, "Hey legen, you've been thinking about my twinkle" several times using a Google Translate app.
Colie walks away from Cook and tells him to stop three times before trying to get the phone away from his face as the YouTuber continues to follow.
It was at this point that the hidden camera went awry when the driver pulled out a gun and shot the YouTuber in the chest.
But last week Colie, who has a license to carry weapons, was found not guilty of grievous bodily harm after saying he was acting in self-defence.
Prank videos take up a lot of space on YouTube, and are often criticized for going overboard just to get a few more clicks.
