A total solar eclipse will cross North America on April 8 this year, passing over Mexico, the US and Canada.

The duration is expected to be 4 minutes and 27 seconds, almost twice as long as the great American eclipse of August 21, 2017.

It is known that in the USA, this event will start in Texas at 13:27 and will end in Maine at 15:35, foreign media write.
